🔥 The Frontend Fire Series Challenge for Coding Wallah Students 🔥

Hey, Coding Wallah students! Here’s an exciting challenge for you as part of the Frontend Fire Series. This is a great opportunity to show off your skills by working on a real-world project. We’re asking you to improve a file-sharing application by enhancing its design and functionality. And here’s the best part: winners of this challenge will receive courses worth ₹1 Lakh, totally FREE!

The Challenge 🔥

There are two main parts to this challenge:

 

1. Frontend Challenge: Making the UI Awesome

Your first task is to make the user interface (UI) of a file-sharing application look and feel amazing. You’ll be working on three main pages:

• Landing Page: This is the first page users will see, so make it inviting! Show what the app does in a clean and appealing way.
• File Uploading Page: Make it easy for users to upload files. Adding a progress bar, drag-and-drop feature, and a responsive design will make the process feel smooth.
• File Downloading Page: Keep it simple and make it easy for users to find and download their files. It should look good on both mobile and desktop devices.

 

2. Backend Challenge: Improving Functionality with Spring

For the backend, we’re looking for two versions with different capabilities:

• Version 1: Add pagination for large data. If your app needs to handle lots of files, pagination helps load data faster and more efficiently.
• Version 2: Set up a user database with Spring Security. Add basic security features like user login and role-based access so only the right users can access the right parts of the app.
